I have read the rules and consent for my child to submit their photograph for use on the City of NIXA website.

RULES

1. By entering this contest you agree to comply with the following rules.

2. The photographer or photographer’s guardian must be the one submitting the photo to the contest. Images submitted by persons under the age of 18, must have the parental consent fields filled out by a parent or legal guardian.

3. All entries must be submitted through this online contest portal and all fields on the submission form must be completed.

4. Photographs must have been taken in the Nixa, Missouri area.

5. Entries must be suitable for display on a public website.

6. All entered photographs may be used as content on the City’s website or in other ways to promote the City of Nixa. The photographer retains the copyright to his or her work.

7. Photographs should be high resolution. As stated above, we use submitted photographs in publications and on our website. The higher the resolution you provide, the more likely your photograph will be used.

8. Winners will be announced after January 1, 2023 via website and email.

9. By entering you affirm that you are the person who took the submitted photograph and that the entry was taken within the Nixa, Missouri Area; you own all intellectual property rights to the photograph; you grant the City the perpetual right and license to reproduce your photographs for educational, promotional, or publicity purposes without payment or further compensation. You also grant to the City of Nixa the perpetual right and license to allow the City of Nixa to authorize the use of the submitted photographs by other partner organizations of the City of Nixa for educational, promotional, or publicity purposes without payment or further compensation.

Photo Submission

One form can be used to submit up to 4 photos at the same time. Photographers may submit as many photos as they like by January 1, 2023. Please do NOT submit raw files, and keep each file to 12MB or less. Please do not submit the same file more than once.
